Like the other members of the Adolescents Matt Beld started his musical career at an early age, forming Los Infernos as a teenager with some greasers and hooligans from the neighborhood they went on to record two records, the first produced by Steve Soto for Dr. Dream the second was released by Jello Biafra's Alternative Tentacles label ... Matt practically grew up in a tour van as the infernos logged in a hell of a lot of tour miles ... when the group disbanded he played around in a few different projects but was quickly called up by O.C.'s Cadillac Tramps to fill the spot left behind by Johnny "Two Bags " Wickersham. Where others had tried and failed Matt stepped in and was the perfect fit. He continues to perform live with them today. In the summer of 2006 Matt was called in to replace Frank Agnew Jr. who had stepped down from his guitar duties with the Adolescents within weeks of their summer tour. Matt's energy and enthusiasm fit perfectly in the adolescents live show and he has been tearing it up onstage with them ever since
